The Choices You Take In Life
I often wonder what my life would be like if I chose the other fork in the road. It's a waste to think of what is not the present, but it is a worthy topic to think about.
What if you could see into the future and predict where two paths would take you? Would you choose to look upon the future? Does it truly matter which school you decide to attend or which job you take or which major you major in?
I think the important choices we make only matter to an extent.
I think the important choices we make only matter to an extent.
In the case of choosing a school, you would certainly meet different friends, have different classes, experience an entirely different experience and live in a different manner. Your life would ultimately not be the life you have now. But no matter where you end up, you are still yourself. Whatever you decide to do in the place you choose to be at, it all comes down to the opportunities you seize and the way you navigate your surroundings.
Of course choices are important, but you are ultimately the maker of your life. Make things happen for yourself. You must persist and give the effort to create something great out of this life. No matter which decision you make, it all comes down to you —your determination, efforts and hard work— to build what you desire.
